Mode of Action:
Pretilachlor belongs to HRAC Group 15 (Chloroacetamides). It inhibits cell division and elongation in germinating weed seedlings by interfering with the synthesis of very-long-chain fatty acids (VLCFAs). It acts primarily through the shoots and roots of emerging weeds, preventing their establishment.
