Product Description
Stump Fungicide is a dual‑mode formulation that provides a triple layer of protection—from seed treatment through foliar applications—to safeguard crops against a broad range of fungal pathogens. By combining Carbendazim’s systemic properties and Mancozeb’s contact activity, it delivers long‑lasting disease control while supplying micronutrients that maintain plant health.
Mode of Action
- Mancozeb remains on the plant surface, oxidising sulfhydryl groups in fungal enzymes and disrupting energy production (preventive contact action).
- Carbendazim penetrates plant tissues and inhibits mitotic microtubule formation, preventing germ‑tube development and mycelial growth (systemic curative action).
Application & Dosage
- Seed Treatment: 2–3 g per kg seed
- Soil Drench: 0.02 % solution for soil‑borne disease control
- Rhizome/Tuber/Nursery Dip: 0.02 % solution before planting
- Foliar Spray: 300 g per acre (general)
- Crop‑specific examples:
• Paddy – Blast | 750 g/acre
• Potato – Late & Early Blight, Black Scurf | 1 750 g/acre
• Mango – Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose | 750 g/acre
Mix thoroughly in clean water and spray uniformly using a flat‑fan nozzle; follow label for exact water volume per hectare.
