Description
Vardan is a broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide formulated as Chlorpyrifos 20% EC. It provides effective control of several chewing, sucking and soil insect pests through contact, ingestion and vapour action. It is used in specified crops for the management of important insect pests.
Mode of Action
Chlorpyrifos acts primarily by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase (AChE), disrupting normal nerve transmission in insects and ultimately causing paralysis and death. It has contact and stomach action.

Application Method
