Description

Clodino Super is a selective, post-emergence systemic herbicide formulated with Clodinafop-propargyl 15% WP for effective control of important grassy weeds in wheat. It is particularly useful against Phalaris minor (Canary grass/Gulli-Danda) and wild oats. The herbicide is absorbed mainly through the foliage of susceptible weeds and stops their active growth.

Mode of Action

Clodinafop-propargyl belongs to the aryloxyphenoxy-propionate group of herbicides. It inhibits the acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme, interfering with fatty-acid synthesis and consequently stopping the growth of susceptible grass weeds.

Application Method

• Apply as a post-emergence foliar spray.
• Apply when the target grassy weeds are actively growing.

• Use a knapsack or suitable field sprayer fitted with a flat-fan/appropriate nozzle for uniform coverage.
• Avoid spraying when rainfall is expected shortly after application.

Dose

Wheat: Approximately 400 g/ha of Clodinafop-propargyl 15% WP in about 375–400 L water/ha, equivalent to approximately 160 g/acre in around 150–160 L water/acre. Always follow the product label and locally approved recommendation before application.
