FMC Ferterra® is a granular insecticide containing Chlorantraniliprole 0.4% w/w GR. Mode of Action:

Ferterra acts as a Ryanodine Receptor Modulator and belongs to IRAC Group 28 – Anthranilic Diamides. It disrupts calcium-ion regulation in insect muscle cells, causing feeding cessation, paralysis and eventual death of susceptible insect pests.

Application Method:

• Rice: Broadcast uniformly over the crop.
• Sugarcane: Apply in furrows at planting or at the base of young emerging shoots along the furrows, followed by irrigation.
• Application can be done by hand while wearing appropriate protective gloves, or with a hand-operated granule applicator/mechanical disperser.

Dose:

Rice application timing: 15–35 days after transplanting.
Sugarcane: For Early Shoot Borer, apply from planting to the first irrigation; for Top Borer, application should coincide with the appearance of Top Borer moths.
