Description:

HPM Atrahit is a selective, systemic pre-emergence and early post-emergence herbicide containing Atrazine 50% WP. It is highly effective in controlling a broad spectrum of annual broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds in crops such as maize, sugarcane, sorghum, and other recommended crops. Atrahit is readily absorbed by weeds through both roots and foliage, effectively inhibiting photosynthesis and preventing weed growth. Its long residual action helps keep fields weed-free during the critical stages of crop growth, resulting in better nutrient availability, improved crop vigor, and increased yields.

Mode of Action:

Atrazine belongs to the Triazine group of herbicides (HRAC Group 5). It inhibits the photosystem II (PS II) process during photosynthesis by blocking electron transport in susceptible weeds. This stops energy production, causing chlorosis, wilting, and eventual death of weeds.

Application Method:
